Title: Research and Development Assistant and Graphic Designer
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, artistic, and organized individual to assist in the research and development phase of fashion product design.
Duties to include:
- Researching new potential products for the home. Research to include: what to make, how to make it, cost analysis and pricing, packaging, merchandising, ordering and re-ordering limitations and delivery, quality, etc.
- Assist in developing the designer’s artistic concepts and designs into actual products through artistic interpretation and the consideration of production techniques.
- Render designs into 3-D CAD models, both from drawings and from concepts
- Organize and maintain the library of existing models and drawings
Requirements:
- Well spoken, and have the ability to get along well with co-workers
- Creative mind, but with the ability to turn concept into reality
- Well versed and in-touch with high fashion and interior design
- Graphics experience
Preferred:
- 3-D modeling experience
- Merchandising experience
- Jewelry production experience
