Are the beaded designs available in any length or only in the lengths
shown? Can I have my design altered?
Mignon designs
all of her necklaces and bracelets with a certain length in mind.
In most
cases, when a design is altered, it will affect the way the design falls
around the body. Thus, we discourage altering the design. However, we
will be glad to alter the length to your wishes for any of our necklaces
or bracelets. There will be additional fees associated with this special
order and once altered the design becomes a final sale, non-returnable
and non-exchangeable. Please call customer service at 800.375.7557 for

2. If
I buy a ring that does not fit can I have it sized to fit me? My fingers
have grown since I purchased my Mignon Faget ring, can it be stretched
or cut?
Mignon Faget
Ltd does not size rings. If you purchase a ring that fits incorrectly,
we will be happy to exchange it for the correct size. Just return the
unworn ring to our return address. Likewise, rings purchased in the
past
will not be sized. Mignon Faget Ltd highly discourages any ring be resized.
When a sterling ring is cut and soldered, it will always be weak at
the
soldered section. Because of this weakness there will be a tendency to
split.
3. I would
like to purchase a chain, but it is not available in the length that I
would like. Can it be special ordered? I have a chain and would like to
have it cut; can this be done?
Our chains
are available to be purchased solely in the lengths offered. If you
have
a Mignon Faget chain that you would like to have shortened, we will be
happy to shorten it for you if the chain style allows. Not all chains
can be shortened. There will be a charge for labor. Please
be mindful that altered chains are not returnable or exchangeable.
4. I am
interested in the ...... , but I would like it to have 5 strands instead
of 6 strands and would like the clasp to be different. Can this be done?

designs her jewelry with a specific image in mind; therefore, alterations
of designs are not feasible.
5. How
do I clean and care for my Mignon Faget jewelry: sterling silver, 14 kt
gold, and gold plated?
Mignon Faget
jewelry is easy to care for. When you receive your order, there will be
a care card in each box with information on how to clean and care for
your Mignon Faget design. To maintain your jewelry, signature polishing cloths and gloves are
available through Mignon Faget, Ltd. for $6.00.

6. Does
Mignon Faget actually make every design?
Mignon Faget
designs all jewelry collections. These designs have unique specifications
that are painstakingly followed by our casters. Mignons team of
talented artisans then hand finish every design.
7. I have
a pair of clip earrings that I would like to convert to pierced; is this
possible and how much will it cost?
If Mignon
Faget offers the earrings in clip and/or pierced, we can convert them
for you. There will be an additional charge for this repair. When an earring
design specifies pierced only or clipped only
there are design reasons for this limitation. Hence, we would be unable
to alter it.
8. I own
several plated designs that I would like to have stripped to sterling
again. Can this be done? Is it possible to have my sterling designs plated?
Our plated
designs have a layer of nickel between the sterling silver and the 24
kt gold plating. Therefore, the plating cannot be stripped. Mignon Faget
uses this process to ensure longevity of the plating.
Sterling
designs cannot be plated. The designs available with 24kt gold plating
are those designs shown with this option on our online shop and in our
catalogue.
9. What
is the dark detailing on most of Mignons designs and why is it getting
darker in some places and lighter in other places (patina)?
The dark
detailing on Mignons designs is called patina. The patina on the
design is applied by hand. When patina has been applied on a very smooth
surface it will naturally wear off with use creating a shine.
When patina is applied to areas that are textured or unexposed surfaces,
it will darken over time. This is the natural aging of your jewelry which
in turn gives your design uniqueness.
10. I
was given a pair of garden snail earrings (or any other design) when I
was younger and no longer wear them. You still sell the same design. May
I return them for another item?
No. We have
a 30 day return policy receipt requested.
11. Does
Mignon create custom designs?
Yes. Mignon
Faget will from time to time create one of a kind customer designs for
her collectors. If you are interested in a custom Mignon Faget design
