The Chatelaine Necklace is a piece inspired by the historic chatelaine, used for centuries and worn by the mistress of the house and the master of the craft alike: a decorative clasp from which hung all the tools of her trade, always within reach and on display.
At its center is the collection's signature embroidered medallion, cast from fabric and set with cultured blue sapphires and cultured light blue zircon, anchoring a cascade of dangling charms: a thimble, a spool of thread, a needle, each one a miniature tribute to the maker's toolkit. Every element of the Atelier collection comes together in this single piece, telling the full story of patience, precision, and the romance of handwork.

All jewelry comes in our signature jade green anti-tarnish pouch. Gift wrapping is available at checkout and the packing slip will not reveal the purchase price.
If you are not delighted with your purchase, merchandise will be accepted in the mail order department for return only if the items are in un-worn, saleable condition within 30 days of purchase and are accompanied by a receipt. You can use our free Return Label Generator to create a UPS shipping label and ship your return to us to start your return.
Refunds on returned merchandise will be issued only if an original receipt is received within the package. If a receipt is not received for a return/refund item, store credit will be issued. Refunds with receipt are given to original card or financing method used in purchase. Gifted purchases are eligible for exchange or will be issued a non-refundable store credit.
Special orders and last chance items are not eligible for return or exchange. Free returns do not apply to repairs and return shipping charges will apply at the time of the repair.
